Shuba Sri Tools invests in productivity tracking
Shubha Sri Tools, Chennai, is a 30 years old ISO 9001:2000 certified company, headed by Mr. V Srivatsan, a hardcore technocrat with lots of ideas on productivity improvement. It has a team of people with high technical knowledge and commitment to productivity. At Subhasri, employees have huge decision making powers and are treated as the part of the management team. They supply auto parts to Super Auto Forge Ltd., El Forge Ltd., Natesan Precision Components Pvt. Ltd. The group consists of Subhasri Tools and Forge Tools, and has 16 CNC lathes and machining centers from Ace Desginers and Jyothi.

Shubha Sri invested in CADEM's SHOPtrack productivity tracking system. Mr.Srivatsan has this to say about SHOPtrack, "Our production quantity has increased by 20%, due to closer adherence to lunch/dinner and tea times by operators. Production performance in night shift has increased dramatically. We attribute this to online tracking. The system has more than paid back for itself in a very short time."
