Unilink uses CAPSturn to calculate exact cycle times
Unilink is a group company of Uniparts Ltd., which has been using SHOPtrack from the past 3 years. Looking at the benefits they have reaped at Unparts, Unilink too now plans to bring IT into their shopfloor through SHOPtrack. To start with they have invested on CAPSturn for developing their programs and minimise the cycle times. Mr. Lalit Mohan, Plant Manager says. "We wish to first establish accurate cycle times on the machines then standardise the process and follow it up with SHOPtrack tracking system. Drawings go direct from CAD to CAPSturn to make 100% first time right programs with optimum cycle time. This cycle time will be compared with the actual cycle time in SHOPtrack and for effective gap analysis."
